Therapeutic Riding is offered to children and adults who have special needs. Our Project Stable volunteers and PATH International certified instructors are dedicated to helping individuals to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
According to PATH International, Therapeutic Riding has been shown to improve muscle tone, balance, range of motion, posture, and coordination while building self-esteem. And it's fun too!
Therapeutic Riding benefits individuals with: Autism Cerebral Palsy Cerebral Vascular Accident Developmental Delay Down Syndrome Functional Spinal Curvature Learning or language disabilities Multiple Sclerosis Sensory Integrative Dysfunction Traumatic Brain Injury
Sessions last for approximately 30 - 45 minutes and are offered Saturdays. Donation for Project Stable Members is a minimum of $20.00 per session.
