Therapeutic Riding

Project Stable is no longer excepting students and volunteers due to relocation. Please look for our programs to resume in 2021 at Governor LeRoy Collins farm park upon completion.
Therapeutic Riding is offered to children and adults who have special needs. Our Project Stable volunteers and PATH International certified instructors are dedicated to helping individuals to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
According to PATH International, Therapeutic Riding has been shown to improve muscle tone, balance, range of motion, posture, and coordination while building self-esteem. And it's fun too!
Therapeutic Riding benefits individuals with:
Autism
Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral Vascular Accident
Developmental Delay
Down Syndrome
Functional Spinal Curvature
Learning or language disabilities
Multiple Sclerosis
Sensory Integrative Dysfunction
Traumatic Brain Injury
